About me
Carrie Walker is a positive and empathetic nonprofit leader who believes that facilitating connection creates a stronger nonprofit community. She has over 16 years of nonprofit work experience along with serving as a volunteer in a variety of roles. Carrie is the Director of Learning at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation. She manages the Nonprofit Network of the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and has held that position since 2014. Some of Carrie’s roles at the Community Foundation include maintaining a robust peer network, directing learning cohorts, promoting equity, leading in disaster philanthropy, and executing a variety of events. Carrie currently serves as the chair of Linn Area Partners Active in Disaster (LAP-AID), the local collaboration of more than 40 organizations active in disaster recovery and response.
