About me
Courtney is the CEO of Newhouse, Kansas City’s oldest domestic violence shelter, and she is also the Founder + CEO of Thrive 360, a growth acceleration practice where she helps people and businesses discover their hidden potential and achieve it. Over the last 22 years, Courtney has led with innovation, strategic visioning, and a community-centric focus, which has earned her the title of “Business Turn Around Expert.” Courtney led the merger that formed our nation’s first bi-state animal welfare organization, and she has more than doubled revenues to help fund non-profit missions, transformed the customer + staff experience, delivered award-winning community engagement campaigns and engineered strategies to support staff and leaders delivering operational excellence in 24x7 operations for the animal welfare, veterinary medicine, leadership development, and social services industries. In 2023, Courtney was named one of the Top 50 Women Leaders in Missouri. She is also a Silver Stevie Award Winner, and a Nonprofit Connect Rising Star recipient. But she considers her most important role being the best mom she can be to her three children, and best partner to her husband of 19 years.
